Terrence Williams New Jersey Nets

Coach Avery Johnson of the New Jersey Nets seems to be excited about the upcoming 2010-11 NBA season for the New Jersey Nets and he just said that Terrence Williams needs to avoid going for the "home run" in the upcoming season. I agree that he is a better player if he does not try to go overboard when trying to become a great player and that he just needs to focus on what he does best, rather than trying to wow everyone with over the top plays. Find Terrence Williams authentic NBA jerseys here.

What's the Strategy Behind Batting the Pitcher 8th

I'm watching the Cardinals @ Rockies tonight, and La Russa is batting his pitcher 8th. I've heard this is gaining popularity, but can somebody explain why? What's the reasoning? All the reasons the Rockies announcers gave made it sound like a superstition.

The only thing I can think of is that if you plan on pulling your pitcher after 4 or 5 innings, and you have some bench-stud, you can get your bench-stud batting 8th for half a game.
